Most regions seemed to have gone through a Bronze Age at some stage in their history, but most would differ when they would advance. The earliest area considered to have entered the Bronze Age was the Near East, around 3300 BC with the Aegean regions not far behind. Evidence of items being made of bronze can be dated back to as far as 4500 BC,. Though they were not in widespread use by this time we could consider these areas to have entered it early.
