Dermatofasciactomy and Full Thickness Skin Grafting for Dupatren's Contracture
Much of the following patients with dupatren's contracture would benefit most from dermatofasciautomy and full thickness skin grafting opposed to traditional fasciactomy. The question was whether the overlying skin needed to be excised. No difference in outcome has been demonstrated between the two procedures, says ULA at all. They concluded that both percutaneous needle-fasciaUTomy and collagenase injections provide good alternatives to surgery.
