The Board Recommends Facebook to Translate Community Standards Into Punjabi
The board has bracked up this issue, facebook doesn't have its community standards in punjabi. I just want to say, punjabi is the ninth most spoken language in the world. This is hundreds of millions of people. It's also a area of the world where there has been increased reporting about serious problems. So why do we need an oversight board for this? Likelike, maybe it's a good use case for the oversight board only because facebook is so incredibly recalcitrant. And it's like a toddler that needs a parent to say, you know, put your pants on facebook.
