The Monitor and the Merrimack

When the truth was known, New York called John Erickson a hero. A song was written about his invention called the Monitor and the Merrimack. Finally, after so many years, John Erickson was being praised for his work. Lincoln came to see Warden in the hospital. But Warden was still not impressed with the monitor probably because he couldn't see.
