What Is the Higgs Boson?
The Higgs boson is a particle. Most of the particles in our everyday world are the things that make up matter. And one mystery we always wondered about was like, how do these particles have mass? How do these particles weigh anything? You know, how do they have any stuff to them? What does that even mean? Just wonder if something has mass? Well, it's interesting because mathematically we think of these particles as just points in space,. Like dots, like zero volume, like how big is the electron? But at its core, the electron itself is a zero volume point in space. So two different particles can have different masses, but they're both the same size
