I first met e tony blair 19 82. The falklands we and i was covering him in a by election in beckonsfield. I thought, there's someone i'l never see again. But i did. It took me six years to persuade him to let us intoto downing street a to do something about the labour spin machine. He certainly had notible personalities which you could see independing whether he was in parliament or at the labour conference. There was very complex character.
