Erica didn't show up to work or leave food for her cat. Her family called the police, but were told they would have to wait 24 hours before filing a missing person's report. Erica was 26 and had an intellectual disability which made her especially vulnerable because of her atism. Emily says she knows erica better than anyone else so starts her own investigation. She doesn't actually know what to do - she has listened to enough episodes of this show,. But she said she'd watched enough date line in 20 20 to know that the key to finding erica is out there somewhere.
