The Amnesia of the Israelites
The Israelites are blaming Moses, they're blaming air and they're blaming God for being stuck in this wilderness. Yet the only reason they're there is because their fathers and mothers refused to enter into the promised land when they had the chance. The glory of the Lord appears to them and God speaks to Moses. And it's important to pay careful attention to exactly what God tells Moses because this is going to be significant as the rest of the story unfolds.
