Introduction

This episode of the Orthobolids Podcast will go over the topic of general and regional anesthesia in orthopedics. In this episode we'll talk about the different components of anesthesia, talk about local anesthesia to the upper extremity, spinal anesthesia,local anesthesia to the lower extremity, blood management, and complications related to these procedures. The two forms of general anesthesia that we'll discuss include inhalational anesthesia and intravenous anesthesia.
