The Secular Bull Market
The SMG 500 was stuck at the 20 level for about 13, 14 years. Between 1950 to 1968, which is the first secular bull period, you had again of about 450%. But that still that whole period actually had three recessions. So in other words, despite falling multiples, the prices continue to go high. And I feel like we may have seen the valuations peak for this cycle in 2021 - but that doesn't mean it's over.
