The Importance of Intersectionality in Black Feminism

I have never poo-pooed the importance of intersectionality. My book is steeped in an interrogation of what I call non-black feminist thought from Shashadri Cooks to Khashar Silverman, Judith Butler and Leopoldino Fortunati. They simply assume that something radically changed, that black women are no longer cargo. The only question you can ask throughout for pessimism is what is at the core that holds it together that if you undid it you'd have the end of the world.
