Getting a Handle on ADHD

Getting a handle on your ADHD takes a really long time. And I think that the most valuable thing that comes out of that is being able to look backwards and understand why you did what you did because that enables you to have self compassion. So many of us hate ourselves for things that we've done or we didn't do. We have extreme regrets. And if we can just take a moment and step back and say, Oh, my brain made me predisposed to this thing that I that I did. You can get a little relief out of that. That relief is incredibly valuable because it lets you move forward.
