What Does Your Gut Tell You?

If we do learn that we really are one of many universes, i think it will have a deep and profound impact on how we see ourselves in the grander hole. There are certain multiveous proposals that only rely on some very basic assumptions to be true. In any given finite region of space, matter can only arrange itself in finitely many different ways. It's kind of like a deck of cards. That's my favorite analogy here. And so when you look at all the research we have so far, what does your gut tell you? Wh what do you think is going on?"
