Elizabeth Laime is a writer, host, and the creator of the podcast series Beth’s Dead, a 10-episode true crime mystery hosted by Monica Padman (of Armchair Expert) that investigates a terrifying real-life case of a parasocial relationship gone wrong. The series follows podcasters Laime and Andy Rosen as they recount why they abruptly ended their show after receiving threats, and how the story escalated into the shocking death of a listener.
