I was part of a team that has been studying school shootings since the combine attack happened. And i just want to emphasizei school shootings are preventable. We can prevent them by setting up threat ment teams and training law enforcement personnel, school personnel and mental helth professionals in this process known as behavo shred assessment. Tis first develpt by the secret service. It's been adapted for k 12. Even the department of defense has concluded this is exactly the tool that works best. Its our best hope going forward.
