Debate over Jets' best defensive choice

The Las Vegas Raiders will be selecting Fernando Mendoza with the first pick in the draft, but the drama comes immediately after. The New York Jets need help all over, but building in the trenches should be the goal. The Arizona Cardinals and Tennessee Titans could follow suit as well. The New York Giants are interesting because they need less help in the trenches and could look at value over need with a player like Caleb Downs. The Cleveland Browns also have a ton of needs and getting in-state prospect Carnell Tate, but the Washington Commanders at pick seven are not as easy to peg down. The New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs could go a number of ways, but will look to add weapons on offense most likely and that makes running back Jeremiyah Love an interesting pick to either. That leaves the Cincinnati Bengals, who obviously need help on the defensive side of the ball.
