The Power of Subtextual Context

I'm going through a big period of looking at trucks on the street, just looking at the way the scratches have been formed and trying to decode why those scratches there. Just thinking about how marks are made or the traces and the evidence that's there. I find that just the most boring, ugly stuff can be the most fascinating. And it almost becomes this dialogue of a subtextual context. It's not really about what they're saying, but about the thing behind what they're trying to say.
