Leadership is about passion and purpose, not privilege and position. People will obey the rank, but they'll only obey if you do all the thinking for them. If you're ever pulling rank to get stuff done, you've pretty much failed,. Those people aren't with you. They're just trying to stay out of trouble and try to please the boss. That's, that's what i think as happening.
