Inflation Is a Mixed Blessing for the Treasure
Inflation that is generated by a rapid wage increases, wish we seing a little bit, but not in a huge way. We are definitely going to see a slowdown across the whole of europe from this cost shock,. energy, also food, over the rest of the year. And that will hit tax receipts over a sort of one to two year horizon. So i think we are going to see an improvement. The treasure would point the fact that they're still borrowing an awful lot of money. They're still reeling from the cost of the pandemic. I think this is going to be an exercise in playing down any idea that there's some kind of secret war chest. Well,
