The Importance of Hope in the Christian Life
Paul says Christians are those who know glory is coming, but suffering is in my present and we live in the overlap. The word hope appears five times in this passage; it's one of the themes and it's a big theme. In verse 23, Paul mentions our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. And so let's just spend a few minutes unpacking what is this redemption that we ought to be hoping for?
