When you write a book, it's not just a book. You don't want to be the person that's writing the book that never finishes the book. I think this connects well to your entire perspective on art and the sense that completion, if you have a completed goal in mind, then you don't let the ups and downs slow you. The artist Julie Maritou, she is 21st century just big wheel in the art world. She makes these huge multimedia abstract works of art there,. absolutely extraordinary and stunning. And she had an exhibition in the Whitney while I was writing this book.
