Why Do Allah Send Prophets?

Prophets were sent as mubashire and muudire, bashireon nadir. Mubashire means you are giving glad tidings to those who follow the prophets. Muudire is a warning that there will be punishment if we don't take advantage of our opportunities. Bashire on the other hand indicates purification occurs when someone takes care of themselves.
