The National Front in France
The national front comes out of a very old tradition of far right politics in France that goes back before the Second World War. It was founded in 1972 by Romachiro Fain, who had been a paratrooper in joining Al-Jurin war. He began his political career as a far right member of parliament in the late 1950s and then went on to work in various far right Political campaigns. But it definitely represented a certain strain in the French population - an anti-immigration, anti-Semitic, xenophobic,. not really accepting parliamentary democracy.
