How to Measure Quality of Life in a Trial Setting
There's no one instrument that's going to cover all those things that is pragmatic for use. The radiation patient where you're interested in quantifying the adverse effects of skin reactions is very different than the chemotherapy patient. You need the right scale for the rate of therapy patient and the right instrument for the chemotherapy patient, he says. But it gets back to my point that this science is a heterogeneous field because people are not using the same template when they're doing it.
