Old Winchelsea Is Hopeless Long to Stand

Old winchelsea was built on a shingle spit, which gave immediate access to the sea. A series of storms in the midle of the thirteenth evoked the furious sea rising up and a pitiful waste of humans. It basically the spit on which it was built gets irrevocably breached. So it's a sitting duck, and people begin to abandon it. In 12 87, 88, there was a triple wammy of storms, which sweep what little remained of it into the sea. And old winchelsea is never seen again. At the first british town to ben drowned since the beginning of recorded history.
