The old-fashioned filing system is something that many of you are perhaps even unfortunately familiar with. It's a whole lot of boxes, draw cards and things, which all have stuff numbers and facts on them. For example, in a business that has lots of salesmen, that maybe that each salesman has a card he has his name on and his address,. What his general salary is, what his commission rate is, how much he sold last month and where he lives, things like that.
