The Norfolk house was on my mind when looking for a forever home. When we arrived at our lovely old farmhouse where we live now all I felt was a rush of welcome and almost excitement emanating from the stones. The house had been owned by a series of older people for almost 50 years and it felt seemingly exuberant at being filled with life chaos and the children who would be born there.
