The Social Role of the Person With AIDS in HIV Era Organization
I think the social role of the person with AIDS within the landscape of sort of understanding like the actual efficacy of HIV AIDS era organizing is so important. I was diagnosed with a chronic illness at a point where people were just not familiar with the word autoimmune disease. The ACA fight in some ways actually made chronic illness through the framework of preexisting condition, legible to the broader public.
