PostgreSQL - What's the Coolest Part?

Postgres uses some metadata fields on a row that contain the transaction IDs. These are internal to the database system tracking these things, right? If you were to delete a row that deleted by field is updated, the row is not deleted at that point in time. But garbage collection will pick it up later and remove it physically from the table when it's deemed that it's no longer accessed.
