The Aids Epidemic

Inselma was one of the first people to identify aids as a sexually transmitted disease. She worked with doctor Irwin braff in San Francisco, tracking cases and sharing information with federal authorities. Her findings contributed to some of the first clear data of what would later be known as the aid's epidemic. Despite her efforts, san francisco became an epicentr of the aids epidemic. Selma passed away on september third, two thousand eight at the age of 91.
