Are You a Web Component Nerd?
Astro doesn't use client directors because we don't have any like client side state management. Astro is kind of that baseline where you load other like client side components. So people put a little script tag and they can mount their web component in Astro. There's no JavaScript involved. It's zero kilobytes. You can also use slots and other things to like dynamically add different content to that component without shipping JavaScript for the stuff you're slotting into it.
