Do We Really Need Transactions?

There's not a lot of use cases in relational database like I can imagine where you don't need those kind of relations. What's really interesting is they start to talk about in non-relational systems, so like a Mongo or whatever. Even though they're not linking to documents and linking to other tables, a lot of times what they'll do is they'll bury the original document into another one.
