Companies with financial resources, when the shake out happens, can do the big bets. And then for the lower and middle tier firms, they're the ones who are going to struggle. General electric, general moters, i b m, disney, hp, trader joes, fedex and micro were all founded during major recessions. So many of the companies that you dont stay around have real staying power over long periods of time.
