The Federal Government Shouldn't Do Much, but It Would Be Better for the Cultural Stuff
I'm with you on the federalism stuff. I've been e federalism gy for ever, subsidiariy tat's that love it. But i think you're missing a step in your math, though, in so far as you're making the case for the federal government not to do much. You wouldn't have one party coming in saying, this is our one shot to make up for all these years of neglect,. and weare going to swing for the fences. They'd say, a ha, look, i can't. I can't piss off the people who held their nose to vote for me because they didn't like the other party. Look at me.
