Oscar Wilde met Alfred Douglas at Oxford in the early 1890s. The two had a passionate but also most frustrating affair, says Andrew Keen. He then picked up an aspect of his career that he'd tried to excel in the early 1880s and didn't make a big impact. In 1892 through to 1895 for very great society comedies; Lady Windamie is Fan, An Ideal Husband, A Woman of No Importance among them.
