The DOJ Is Not Beholden to the Pleasure and Schedule of a Potential Defendant

A month after January 6th happened, anyone would have brought charges against a sitting president who had just left office with only one month of investigation done. Trump is claiming that this is coming in nine minutes. Our sense right now is this could be him just looking at press speculation and that is why he's saying that. This team, we've been talking to them. Obviously, they've been waiting to see if this is actually going to happen. They're obviously waiting for it to happen any moment now.
