When we think about economists in chile, we typically think not of the sepalinos, but rather of the infamous neo liberal chicago boys who played such a key role in the pinochet dictatorship. Are there more important economic ideas in latin america than those that occupy that space as for the transition and the use of violence? We don't have access to a counterfactul right? Like t would have happened, like how, how much? But we can sort of, any something that i am starting to kind of research on a sort of lived, ah, through these kind of momentous regime.
