Why Is VAT Lowered to 15%?
To splash out just means to spend money in a carefree way. Women listening to the podcast, you probably know what I mean because women love to splash out at the shopping center. VAT was lowered to 15% in order to encourage us to splash out in shops up and down the country. It's a tax which is applied to almost everything that you purchase in the shops. In this country it's 15%. So that's to bail someone out.
