Do You Have the Power to Make the Choice?

How should people deal with this absurd situation of making individual and social risk assessments on an individual and family basis? It's an impossible question. I don't have a great answer, but i would like to highligt that you can see it from the perspective of a consumer who doesn't want their freedom to dine restricted. Or you can be a restaurant worker who wants the freedom to not be infected by covid through either occupationa health regulation or temporarily shutting down the work plac and sending you home. So ye, a lot of times we don't even have the power to make the choice. And when we do have the power, there are not necessarily good, good options.
