The judges are sort of the villain in this, in this story. This is surprising. I think a lot of people who have critiques of the criminal justice system, they want to talk about the police and they want totalk about the prosecutors. But you point the finger in a lot of these cases to these judges. Because the judges have the responsibility in every case to protect the civil rights of the defendant. And what happens in so many of these cases is the judge is just acting as a tax collector.
