Scott Robertson to Coach the Oblex?
Scott Robertson has won six titles with the Crusaders. There was a big ground swell for him to be appointed after the Oblex bombed out in the World Cup semi-final. New Zealand rugby went with Foster and he's had to fight that discontent since then. The message by not appointing him is saying, OK, what you do domestically isn't enough. And you have to go offshore and prove yourself somewhere else before you can claim that Oblex role. But I don't expect it to have a massive influence on the decision because it is going to come to a head reasonably quickly.
