As people became internet famous bloggers and social media platforms quantified every aspect of our humanity, we became obsessed with metrics. We started to value hearts over rivals and reach over depth and it kind of worked. But if I think about my mailing list size right now, it's at a size where when I set out any mail on the weekend, I get 150, 200 replies. And like, I can reply to all of them. That gets me to know my audience as super beneficial to me as creator but it's also beneficial for me as a business.
