Introduction
On christmas eve 19 14, various sectors of the western front fell silent. Troops and caroll they shouted across to each other. The following day, those truces continued along many, many parts of the line. People met in no man's land. Was onccountibal atmosphere. They even had pepe a kick about football occasionally. And subsequently, on this special episode, we got three very distinguished historians. We're also going to hear actors reading out extracts from the men as well,. including some cast here for the first ever time in english.
