The biggest factor for the reduction in casual sex among 18 to 23 year olds is reduced alcohol consumption. With men, there are also other factors, such as hours spent on line or living with a parent. A debrasa suggested that young people aren't engaging in sex as frequently because of the increase in helicopter parenting and a decrease in adolescence getting jobs in their free time.
