Rents on New Listings Are Up, Not Down

The number of rental listings shoot up in every sub-market we have properties in, both for houses and apartments. While rents on new listings were increasing by over 15% from one year to the next, that was nowhere near the rent increase the average tenant had to pay. Americans on the whole are moving less than at any time since 1948.
