If you use guided surgery quite often you can have a customized healing abutment made. It's actually quite easy to do chair side so instead of using a stock healing abutments you can use what's called a temporary cylinder. In that dense space between whether cylinder is and and where the rest of the tip that's where you add your flowable composite, which then supports soft tissue correctly. The other really nice way of doing it is if your tooth is relatively intact is cut the tooth off just below the c ej punch a hole into itThen you can actually use the existing tooth as your temporary as well but the old living ones are great too.
