The Smiths Were a Constant Avocation to Tell Stories of Ancient America
I've read some accounts where joseph would sit with his family by the fire at nights and go on and on about what ancient america was like. And this was all before he actually ever saw the plates. To i have it wrong there? Well, a, it's easy to exaggerate that were we depended upon lcy a saying, recording that experience. Ah, then alvan died, and as she says, it closed down the whole operation. So you can't think of joseph smith as perpetually spinning tales of ancient america to his family. He didn't tell those tales to a to the neighbors either.
