Migrant Solidary Mutual Aid Network
A network of mutual aid organizations armed with limited resources and a non profit operating with a federal grant have been scrambling to help migrants. The number of busses arriving in the city continues to rise. Samus managing director, tatiana la bord, said the organization tried to put together a team to find last minute resources. After it became clear t Tuesday that there were not enough volunteers to help the incoming migrants, le board said in an interview that samu does not have the capacity to coordinate all the busses.
