Hardwired Atlas Rise and Spit Out the Bone

hardwired was a step back in songwriting they just didn't have much to say this is so much unmotivated repetition without development james' voice is really strong on these later albums but he's gotten so conservative about what he will do with his voice. two of my favorite metallica songs of all time are on hardwired atlas rise and spit out the bone i'm awfully glad  hardwired ended up being such a good album. I think that snare sound is a little too big actually and it it strains credulity in concert lars has had that giant snare sound live ever since hardwired"
