Do You Have a Business Motto?
A company in the airline industry instituted a new reward system that encourage employees to create new product or ideas. They were having a difficult time finding new products and markets to grow so they did some training sessions to familiarize employees with the innovation process. This was reflected in the corporate motto: We're on it. That was their motto. So we're on it is a great motto. However, it rewards taking action to fix short term problems. You need to make, if you're going to put a motto in place, put it in your weak spot, not the right. Right?
